In the new Panorama Schiedam, you'll see the city's very first house, the windmills, and apartment buildings, and you'll also encounter Kethel's little horse, which is over 2,000 years old.

Yves Klein & his artist family

A first for the Netherlands and Stedelijk Museum Schiedam: the exhibition "Yves Klein & his Artist Family" brings together for the first time the oeuvres of the Klein family, consisting of Yves Klein (1928–1962), his parents Frits Klein (1898–1990) and Marie Raymond (1908–1988), and his wife Rotraut (born 1938). While Yves Klein achieved international fame with his iconic monochrome paintings, fewer people know that his relatives were also successful artists with a passion for color and the cosmos.
